Although the (apparently up-to-date) parish website of St Columba’s, Fernley NV makes no mention of it, the (also up-to-date) personal blog of the rector describes him as ” in transition to the Ordinariate” and his Linked In post describes the parish as “in transition to an Ordinariate”. A vote of the parish to this effect was reported on the Anglican Use News blog in 2010.

“St Columba’s Traditional Anglican Church, Fernley, Nevada. Rector: Fr William Bauer TFSC PhD Assistant: Fr Raymond Cullen

A member of the Episcopal Missionary Church, St Columba’s parish has been struck by appalling misfortune in the past year with an act of arson gutting the church building in October of 2012. Thanks be to God, the City of Fernley has agreed to the building of a new church (agreed on June 13th 2013) and the Insurance money will cover it.
As for the interest in joining the Ordinariate, I believe Fr Bauer is/was part of the Ordinariate formation programme, but have no idea where the process for him and the parish presently stands.”

This is a great start for the ordinariate, but it also shows that it has a lot of work ahead of it. I would like to see this list grow to include a congregation in every state and province, and then in in every major city or metropolitan area, in both countries.

Apparently it took four years for William Bauer to get word that he had been denied a nulla osta. Earlier this year St Columba’s became a parish of ROCOR http://www.netministries.org/see/churches/ch05703

The list of parishes on the OCSP website now shows a new community-in-formation, St John Fisher, meeting every Sunday in Orlando, FL. The parish list has been tidied up—OLW, Maple Ridge finally appears only once—and there is a local map feature which I believe is new. Still many inaccuracies and a few broken links, but I suppose it would be helpful if those in charge of Ordinariate communities alerted the Chancery when changes are made. The one year anniversery of the first and only Parish Spotlight, the Knights of Columbus at Incarnation, Orlando, will be coming up next month.

While looking (unsuccessfully, so far) for more information on St John Fisher, Orlando I found this Facebook page which has videos of masses at Incarnation, Orlando. https://www.facebook.com/OrlandoMusic333/
