If you will be in central London on Saturday 22 November, please come along to Westminster Cathedral Hall where the popular Towards Advent Festival of Catholic Culture will be taking place.

Admission is free but there is a small charge of £2 for those who would like to attend one of the talks. Doors open at 10.00am and the Festival will be officially opened at 10.30am by Mgr Keith Newton, Ordinary of the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham. The choir of the St John Fisher School, Purley will take part in the opening ceremony.

At 11.30am Mgr Newton will speak on “Anglicans and Catholics: A Way Forward”.

At 1.00pm Canon Luiz Ruscillo (Director of Education, Diocese of Lancaster) will speak on “Teaching the Faith”.

At 2.30pm there will be a Music Workshop led by Joseph Estorinho. The subject is “Latin Chant: Learn to sing it!”

The Festival brings together a wide range of Catholic organisations with displays, sales of books, DVDs, rosaries etc. Refreshments are available all day.

The Friends of the Ordinariate will have a stand at the event and hope to see you there!
