Quite a number of new priests and deacons, considering the fact that there are also two priests-to-be with the Tunbridge Wells Group and some seminarians.

  2. porys says:

And what about dr Geofrey Kirk – former secretary of Forward in Faith? Will he also be ordained?

  3. CPS says:

Geoffrey Kirk gets to Most Precious Blood in the Borough almost every Sunday. He has had several operations on his feet in the past year or so but is otherwise in good form. I visited him yesterday and he is in good spirits, doing some writing which I hope we will all see the fruits of in due course.

I note in this article from The Portal http://www.joomag.com/magazine/the-portal-january-2014/0420284001388518772?page=2 that he is very much in the Fr Ashley Beck camp rather than the Richard Upsher Smith Jr one on the subject of liturgy.

  5. EPMS says:

In the May newsletter of St Thomas More,Scranton Fr Bergman speaks of an ordination for the OCSP this weekend, attended by Msgr Steenson, who will also be meeting with a group in formation. Can anyone share details about either of these events?

  6. EPMS says:

More: http://www.hfcmn.org/parish-news-update But this community is already on the list of “Communities on the OCSP website. Does Fr Bergman have another group in mind?

  7. EPMS says:

Apropos of OCSP information policy, there is a new item on the website: the OCSP church in Baltimore was not damaged in the recent riots. This raises the philosophical question: when a dog does not bite a man, is that news?
