‘Does what you do, in pursuit of a proper distinctiveness, clearly lead to holiness? Is it in the service of sanctification?’ This was the question which Cardinal Nichols put to members of the Ordinariate at its Westminster Festival in 2014.

In response the Coventry group is joining groups around the country in celebrating a Novena of prayer from Friday 15th May to Saturday 23rd May (from the Feast of the Ascension of Our Lord to the Feast of Pentecost), reflecting on the English spiritual tradition.

And on Saturday 23rd May we are inviting people to spend a Day of Recollection with us to pray and reflect on material drawn from writers of the English spiritual tradition Our English spiritual heritage is one we can all share, in a powerful experience of praying together. We would love you to join us. For more details telephone Father Paul on 024 7669 3752.

The Deal Ordinariate Group will be joining in the Novena of Prayer from 15th to 23rd May 2015.

We will be hosting a Day or Recollection on Saturday 23rd of May at St John the Evangelist in Mongeham beginning at 11.30am and concluding at about 2.30pm.

We look forward to welcoming you!

Good to see events being planned… A reminder that anyone can pray the Novena online. Just go to http://www.calledtobe.org.uk/ and click on ‘Novena Day by Day’. There’s also a ‘Little Novena’ for children – and other resources for children’s activities. Click on the appropriate buttons to download them.

    Please pray with us!
