UK Ordinariate groups make plans for the Solemnity of Our Lady of Walsingham (24th September)

Manchester:

The Ordinariate in Manchester is holding a WALSINGHAM FESTIVAL in St Joseph’s Church, Mary Street, Heywood OL10 1EG, on Saturday 26th September.

The Programme for the day is:

3 pm (in Parish Hall) ‘England’s Nazareth’ a talk by Fr David Butler

4 pm (in Church) Choral Evensong, sung by The Rudgate Singers

followed by Cream Tea (in Parish Hall)

Festival of Our Lady of Walsingham

The Celebrant will be the Ordinary, Mgr Keith Newton. There will be an Orchestra, Choir,  and homily from Anglican Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali, former Bishop of Rochester and before that Bishop of Raiwind, Pakistan. He is now President of the Oxford Centre for Training, Research, Advocacy, & Dialogue (OXTRAD)
