News from St. Gregory the Great, Stoneham

Fr. Jürgan Liias, pastor of St. Gregory the Great Ordinariate Catholic Church, currently at Stoneham, MA, but looking to move elsewhere, has written an interesting newsletter to his congregation (click on this link to read the complete letter). In it he explains that the Archdiocese of Boston has not permitted the Community’s hoped-for move to St. Athanasius in Reading and that they will be staying in Stoneham for the time-being (no reasons have been given for the move or for the Archdiocese’s refusal).

Plans have, however, been made to share liturgies with another St. Athanasius – the Pastoral Provision community from Brookline, currently meeting at  St Lawrence, Chestnut Hill. Most of the greater feasts of the coming months will be celebrated together.

There is also some information about putting the conclusions from the parish retreat at Graymoor into practice. We wish you a happy read.
