Fr. James Bradley has informed us:
As part of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity at the Parish of Saint Vincent Ferrer and Saint Catherine of Siena in New York City, NY, a Solemn Mass according to Divine Worship, the new missal of the personal ordinariates, will be celebrated at Saint Catherine’s Dominican Church (411 East 68th Street) on Saturday, January 23rd at 12:00 noon.
The Schola Dominicana (James D. Wetzel, Choirmaster) will sing music from the Anglican choral tradition: Herbert Howells’ Office of Holy Communion: Collegium Regale; Philip Moore’s All wisdom cometh from the Lord; and John Amner’s Sing, O heav’ns. Fr James Bradley will be the celebrant and homilist.
Following the Mass there will be refreshments and two talks, one on the history of Anglican-Catholic relations, leading to the establishment of the ordinariates, by Fr Bradley, and one on unity and diversity in the liturgy by Fr Innocent Smith OP. There will then be a period of Eucharistic Adoration, followed by Evensong.
