On Saturday 16th January the Ordinary, Monsignor Keith Newton, celebrated the fifth anniversary mass of the Ordinariate at the Church of the Most Precious Blood, London Bridge.
The homilist was Father Peter Geldard, former Chairman of the Church Union and now chaplain at the University of Kent at Canterbury.
The MPB facebook page also notes that: “The John Fisher School choir rose to the occasion and sang the setting in F by Herbert Sumsion.”, on which Mgr. Andrew Burnham has commented: “Ah, Sumsion in F. When I was a choirboy we sang it at Ordinations, along with Byrd Sacerdotes Domini. Patrimony. Sorry to miss everything this week.”
