The MPB facebook page also notes that: “The John Fisher School choir rose to the occasion and sang the setting in F by Herbert Sumsion.”, on which Mgr. Andrew Burnham has commented: “Ah, Sumsion in F. When I was a choirboy we sang it at Ordinations, along with Byrd Sacerdotes Domini. Patrimony. Sorry to miss everything this week.”

  1. Paul Waddington says:

It is good to see a photograph showing so many boys from my old school. The John Fisher School not only produces singers, but is a great source of priests. Three old boys were ordained priests last year, and I know of two further old boys in the seminary at Wonersh.

    May that tradition live on!
