Within the framework of this year’s spiritual initiative “Called to be Catholic” (2014: Called to be One; 2015: Called to be Holy) the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham is following Pope Francis’ call to spend 24 hours in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament this Friday and Saturday.

A special set of handouts has been prepared with twenty-five pages of spiritual texts from the Anglican and Catholic traditions which can form the basis of spiritual reading and meditation during these 24 hours and at any time this year. The collection can be accessed by clicking here.

There are also a number of resources available for children taking part in the 24 hours.

As in the previous two years there will be a Called to be Catholic DVD as an evangelisation tool. Likewise there will also be a Pentecost Novena from Friday 6th May to Saturday 14th May, reflecting this year on the Seven Sacraments. The texts for the Novena will be available soon on the Called to be … website (click here).
