From Sacré Coeur to St. Vincent de Paul
On Sunday September 4, 2016, the Ordinariate community of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Toronto, will be moving to a new home.
With the gracious approval and support of Cardinal Collins, they have been invited to “put down their roots” by the Fathers of the Oratory and St. Vincent de Paul parish. Located in the beautiful Roncesvalles neighborhood of Toronto, this church has been a font of grace in the neighbourhood for over 100 years.
The parish website states: Please join us as we begin this new phase in the life of our parish, and most importantly, keep us in your prayers.
P.S. Just out of interest: Roncesvalles is the name of the first town on the Camino de Santiago de Compostela on the Spanish side of the Pyrenees – so the location of St. Vincent de Paul Church in the Roncesvalles neighbourhood of Toronto is like an omen – representing the beginning of a new pilgrimage for St. Thomas More’s. Godspeed!
