Apart from the Ordinariate community of St Augustine of Canterbury in Tokyo, which we have already reported about, we have learnt that a new community, St. Laurence of Canterbury, is being built up in Hiroshima.
The pastor of that group, Deacon Joseph Paul Yamaoka, is to be ordained to the
priesthood on the Feast of St John the Baptist, June 24th 2016, by His Excellency Archbishop Chennoth, Apostolic Nuncio in Japan, in the chapel of the Nunciature. The Ordinary of the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of the Southern Cross, Monsignor Harry Entwistle, will present the candidate for ordination.
